Musical Instrument Repairs

At Breve Music we have our own on-site and off-site technicians where we undertake servicing on your musical instruments. We cater for all repairs from minor touches to a complete overhaul and service.

Before any quote is given, any item will need to be inspected by a technician to diagnose the problem and assess what work is needed. An inspection costs £30.00 per item.

Guitar Repairs and Restrings

We have an in-house technician that can help with giving your guitar a spruce up. The most common thing we do is a guitar restring. A standard electric, acoustic or bass guitar costs £15.00 (plus the price of the strings on top). For anything a little more specialist such as a Bigsby, Floyd Rose, or any other non-standard variation, this can cost between £20.00 - £25.00. You'll need to leave your guitar with us for 48hrs after payment has been made.

Our technician can also perform basic setups for guitars, such as bringing the action down, adjusting the bridge for better intonation or replacing a part that is broken. Please fill out the form below to let us know what you work you require and include any pictures that might detail the problem. All instruments need to be inspected by our technician before we can quote you.

Electronics and Keyboard Repairs

Whether its a tube that's faulty in your guitar amp, or a key that doesn't make any noise on your keyboard, we have a team of tech heads that can find the fault and bring your gear back to life.

As mentioned above, each of your electronic items require a £30.00 inspection fee to diagnose all the faults present. Once the fault has been determined, we can tell you how much it will cost to fix, in which you can decide whether it would be economical to do so.
