Breve Music School is closed as of Tuesday 24th March 2020

As you will have hopefully seen, The Breve Team were all working very hard here to continue to provide tuition via Skype. Unfortunately, with the latest advice and restrictions put in place for the entire UK, we are prevented from continuing this plan for the time being.  As a team, we will do absolutely everything we can to get back to teaching you as soon as we’re able.

We’d like your help

In the meantime, we’ve got a couple of requests for you as parents/students:

1: Make sure you keep playing! Playing music has a positive effect on your mental health and wellbeing….something that is really needed right now!

2: Please do follow the instructions to set up Skype, and then follow this guide to notify us. Currently, no one knows when we will be allowed to resume lessons as normal. We expect that we may be able to resume Skype lessons before we’re allowed to resume face-to-face lessons. So, we urge you to create your Skype account now and notify us via the Breve Music Student Portal so we can be ready at a moment’s notice to start teaching you again.

3: Keep engaged. Our tutors are keen to keep in touch and they have said that despite not being able to meet in person or via Skype at present, thankfully we are able to email and message each other. We will be providing details soon of how we can all keep the Breve Music School community engaged. Send us your photos, videos and tag us on Instagram/Facebook: @brevemusicltd Let’s keep music alive!

Contact Us

All Breve Music staff will have access to their email at home, albeit limited access and we will continue to monitor these as often as we can. Do get in touch if you have any questions but please be patient if you do not receive an immediate response.

When will we be back and what happens to my billing?

You will be the first to know when we are able to resume lessons. During this unknown time period, please be aware your Breve Music School account has been temporarily frozen. We have made provisions on the automated system to freeze billing for April. If you do receive charges for lessons scheduled whilst we are closed, they will be deleted once we resume. We will be reviewing this policy on a monthly basis due to the fact that the current situation and government guidelines seem to be changing daily.

A Big Thank You!

Thank you to each and every one of you for your support through these difficult times…..myself and the team are extremely grateful and we are excited to continue to deliver the best service we can. We very much look forward to seeing you again soon.

Kind regards and best wishes to you, your family and friends,

Simon and The Breve Team
